Seni Tiga

Multidisciplinary collaborative performance series

Seni Tiga (three arts in Bahasa Malaysia) is an on-going project created in 2019 by Kongsi Petak, one of the KongsiKL community to promote multidisciplinary performances and expressions. It is a platform for new and professional artists (and non-artists) from different disciplines to express themselves with three elements - movement, visual and sound.

In order to break boundaries between art disciplines and to make art accessible to all, the emphasis of Seni Tiga is always on the creative process that aspires to be non-hierarchical. Artists - regardless of disciplines and experience - develop performances at the warehouse in a fluid and dynamic environment. This has become a solid foundation for them to continue developing their works in other locations for festivals and events.

In 2021, instead of developing live performances, the platform will continue in the form of a laboratory to stimulate, nourish and elevate creative practice of participants through mutual artistic exchange with a mentor.
