Gudang Jem #02 ft. Faris Nasir

This Gudang Jem session will be lead by Faris Nasir, a multi-disciplinary artist, whose works encompasses music, visual arts (animation & stills), flow arts and soap bubble arts.

Faris was one of our Seni Tiga collaborating artist in September, show titled 'FOUNDRY'. Last week, he locked himself in Kongsi KL for 8 hours to record a video, edited and composed his own music to make a video work to celebrate his 32nd year of living on Earth, and to ponder on life.

Come join us as Faris shares about his latest work and of course let's jamming! We have projector, mixer, speakers in the house; Faris has some dope visuals in mind; you just need to bring yourself, your work or your instruments/ XLR cable! :)

is an open jamming session for various art disciplines (#sound #theatre #movement #visual #literature #etc) on random weeknights in KongsiKL warehouse.

Faris Nasir
is a multi-disciplinary artist, his works encompasses music, visual arts (animation & stills), flow arts and soap bubble arts. Performing as Kapten Buehbossa, using soap bubbles as his main medium, Faris has shared his works across continents, to countries such as China, India, UK, Maldives, Dubai, Africa and around South East Asia.

While exploring soap bubbles, Faris also went in depth into the science of soap bubbles; how they rearrange themselves in a specific geometrical way and how the color dynamics came about, which are known as fractals, repeating patterns in different scales, of which can be found almost anywhere in nature. The discovery led him into making fractal arts as Vuevossa Visuals
